So I had this idea that I would, like thousands of others, write about food. But what could I bring to the table? Or even the kitchen? Is there a food trend without a blog of its own?
Probably not. But I hooked up with a gardener a couple of decades ago and when you partner with a gardener you learn to go with a certain seasonal ebb and flow. And sometimes you eat really, really, really locally.
This, then, is a blog about growing and eating food for those of us who aren’t farmers, but are using what small yards and window ledges we have to make food.
